A new lawsuit filed by a group of voodoo women accuses the country music legend of being a rapist and child molester.
The women accuse Donald J. Trump of being responsible for their enslavement, rape, sexual abuse and murder.
The lawsuit is seeking $5.5 million in damages, according to The New York Times.
It’s a major blow to the presumptive Republican presidential nominee.
Trump has said he never engaged in the sex acts or molestation but has denied the allegations.
“Mr. Trump was not a participant in the tortures and abuses alleged by these women,” Trump attorney Jay Sekulow said in a statement on Friday.
“We are confident that we will prevail in our case.”
Sekulow’s statement said the lawsuit is a response to Trump’s comments in an interview on “The Howard Stern Show” in which he was asked whether he’d ever engaged in sexual acts with a woman.
“I don’t know if I would have engaged in it,” Trump said.
I don’t think I would ever have.
I was married to Ivana, I mean, I’m married to Marla Maples.
I’m a pretty good guy.”
He added: “I’m a very private person, so I’m not going to get into the details of the women.
I wouldn’t say, ‘Well, you know, I did do it.’
But you know what?
I am a very, very private man.”
Trump, the presumptive GOP nominee, has denied any wrongdoing and said the women are liars.
Trump’s attorneys have repeatedly said they have no intention of dropping the lawsuit.
Trump has said that he was only interested in being able to play the country star and said that “I never engaged or did anything like that with any woman.”
