Toyota and Japanese auto manufacturer Honda are using their own hybrid-powered cars to expand their customer base.
The Japanese carmakers are turning to a new way to sell cars to the world by using their hybrid-electric cars as the primary means of transportation.
The cars are called Toyota Vodafone Prius and Honda’s Honda Hybrid-Electric Hybrid.
The hybrid-cars, which are designed to meet the highest standards of safety and efficiency, are a key part of the Japanese automakers’ strategy to become the world’s largest automaker in the next five years.
“I think it’s a very attractive market, as it will help the Japanese companies with the growth and competitiveness,” said John Stokes, chief executive of global auto consultancy BMO Capital Markets.
“Hybrids are going to be important for the Japanese auto industry, but we expect they’ll be much more competitive than the other brands.”
The cars were launched in 2016 by Toyota, Japan’s biggest auto maker, and Honda, its second-biggest, in partnership with Nissan.
The Japanese car makers are selling the vehicles for about half the price of the Toyota and Nissan vehicles.
The cars, which have a range of more than 300 kilometers (186 miles) on a single charge, have become popular with Japanese commuters.
Honda is also introducing hybrid-gas-electric versions of its Prius vehicles, which make the vehicles much more efficient.
Toyota and Honda announced the sales of their own Hybrid-electric Prius cars, a key element in the Japanese carmaker’s strategy to expand its customer base and to become one of the worlds largest automakers, as well as the first vehicles to offer plug-in hybrids.
The hybrids are available with the Toyota nameplate.
The Prius hybrids are designed for long journeys and offer up to 200 miles of range on a full charge.
Toyota said the vehicles can reach a top speed of about 140 miles per hour (209 kilometers per hour).
The company also introduced its own Toyota Hybrid-Acid-Fuel hybrid vehicle in 2017.
In the U.S., the cars are marketed to drivers in cities, where gas prices have fallen significantly, and where they are often more expensive than the hybrids.
Hybrid cars are often used to ferry people to work, school or shopping, and to save money on fuel costs.
The U.K. is the first major market where Toyota and Toyota Hybrid are being sold separately.
The vehicles were launched by the Japanese company in 2016, and the first hybrids to be sold there were in 2019.
The vehicles are marketed in the U., Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Toyotas sales in the United States rose nearly 2 percent to about $8.9 billion in the first three months of 2019, a 10 percent increase from the same period last year, the company said in a statement.
The company said the first hybrid-vehicle sales in 2020 are expected to be the most significant in the world.
