Voodoo man Eugene Voodoo, the man who is credited with creating voodoo, sex and drugs, died on Friday, his son told CNN.
He was 94.
Eugene Vool, who was born in 1858 in the U.S., created voodoo from the pulp of ancient African myths.
His son, Eugene Voodah, said Eugene died peacefully.
“He’s been very much loved, very much respected by his community,” said Eugene Voo, a retired teacher.
Eugene was born with a rare genetic disorder, a condition called idiopathic vitiligo, which means he has no pigment in his skin.
“When he was born he was very fragile, very fragile.
He could barely stand up and walk,” said his son.
Eugene had no pigment, and his skin was yellow and covered in small black spots.
The family of the Voodoo Man, Eugene, died in a nursing home in Los Angeles, according to Eugene’s son.
His brother, Eugene Yap, said he was at the home for treatment, but the hospital did not know.
“I’m not sure when he’ll get better,” Eugene Yop said.
Eugene died at a nursing facility in Los Angles, Calif., on Friday.
“The hospital didn’t even know how long he was in there.
They were just so shocked.
He didn’t have a pulse.”
Eugene died in Los Angels, California, on Friday afternoon, his brother said.
“My brother was so proud of his son, his dad,” Yap said.
The condition was caused by a mutation of a gene called Vool-1.
“Eugene’s condition has gone from being the most dangerous thing in the world to a very normal thing,” said Dr. Steven Nieh, director of the Mayo Clinic Voodoo Institute in Rochester, Minnesota.
Eugene Yum, the son of Eugene Voodle, who is seen in the background, died of a heart attack in August 2017.
His father died of diabetes.
Eugene’s father, Eugene Eugene Yal, also had a rare mutation of the same gene, and was a well-known doctor in the region.
In addition to the genetic mutation, Eugene’s skin was darker, he had more white blood cells, and he had a higher risk of getting kidney problems.
He also suffered from a blood disorder called albinism.
Eugene Eugene was a skilled musician and a master of the arts.
His first wife, Dorothy Yum was a painter.
He had four children, but one died at the age of 14.
Eugene also had four wives and eight children.
He lived for many years in California, where he was an avid reader and musician.
His last known place of residence was in New York City.
Eugene did not have many close friends and was extremely lonely.
“In his life he was a recluse,” Yum said.
He suffered from alcoholism, and Eugene’s alcoholism contributed to his health problems.
Yum is the niece of Eugene Yums youngest brother, Voode Eugene, who died in 2007.
Eugene and Voodee had two daughters, the youngest daughter, Yum.
“His last words were, ‘I love you, Daddy,’ ” Yum told CNN affiliate KPIX.
“It was very emotional, but I couldn’t get past that.”
The family has raised money for his medical care, and Yum has raised more than $1 million for his care.
Eugene is survived by his wife, Sylvia Yum; a daughter, Lillian Yum Yal; and four grandchildren.
“We are deeply saddened to learn that Eugene passed away today,” his son said.
